1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the InTalesWorld application ("App") or visiting our website at intalesworld.com ("Website"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use our services.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account. The App is intended for use by children ages 4–10 under parental supervision.
2. Description of Service
InTalesWorld provides:
- Audio stories and illustrated reading experiences for children
- Personalized story recommendations based on reading history and preferences
- Child profile management for parents
- Bedtime mode and reading tracking features
- Push notifications for new stories and bedtime reminders (optional)
3. Accounts & Registration
- You must create an account to use the App
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
- You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
- You may create child profiles under your parent account (limits vary by subscription tier)
- By creating an account, you provide parental consent for your children's use of the App as described in our Privacy Policy
4. Subscriptions & Payments
4a. Free & Paid Tiers
InTalesWorld offers both free and premium subscription tiers. Free accounts may have limited access to certain stories and features.
4b. Billing
- Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
- Payment is processed entirely by Apple or Google — we never see your payment card details
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Prices may vary by region and are displayed in your local currency at checkout
4c. Cancellation & Refunds
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store settings
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then
- Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies
5. Content & Intellectual Property
- All stories, illustrations, audio recordings, and other content in the App are owned by InTalesWorld or our licensors
- You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the content for personal, non-commercial use
- You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content
- You may not record, download, or redistribute the audio stories
- The InTalesWorld name, logo, and branding are our trademarks
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use automated tools to scrape or collect data from the App
- Share your account credentials with others or allow unauthorized access
- Circumvent any content protection or access control measures
7. Children's Safety
- The App contains no user-generated content, chat, or messaging functionality
- Children cannot communicate with other users
- Parents may share story links using the device's native share feature; this does not expose any child data
- All content is curated and age-appropriate
- The App contains no advertisements
- In-app purchases are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store, which provide their own purchase confirmation and parental controls
8. Availability & Changes
- We strive to keep the App available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
- We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time
- Story availability may change as we add new content and rotate our library
- We will provide reasonable notice of material changes to the service
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, InTalesWorld shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Account Termination
- You may delete your account at any time through the App (Profile → App Settings → Account → Delete Account) or by contacting us
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
- Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases and your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which InTalesWorld operates. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
